Last year in New Orleans, I saw a man walking with his pregnant wife. They were both dressed in completely black gowns with hoods. Except the woman had a hole in the front of her gown just big enough for her pregnant belly to pop through. A smiling orange jackolantern with black eyes was painted onto her belly. It was really cute.

Hi! I've been bowling since I was 5 years old. My highest game is 212. My highest average is 159.I've bowled for 22 years. When I saw the idea to be a bowling pin and ball Ithought that was the coolest idea.I look all over town for that kind of costume. If you know where I can get that kind of costume write to me ,let me know please. I have 19 troffees,4 bowling balls.

Two ideas for you.

Last year I went as a Belly Dancer - the whole sheer look with the chain around my 9 month belly. The ONLY time I would where a belly dancer costume!!!

Next, a friend a few years back was VERY pregnant and she went as a beer-drinking man. She wore a very tight plaid shirt that had stains on it and the bottom buttons were undone and stretched to the point of popping! She just wore a pair of man jeans that were pretty grubby too. Around here neck she wore an empty beer can - so she wouldn't have to carry a can all night.

Being pregnant at Halloween can be great for putting the costumes together. Good luck!!

I saw your message and couldn't resist responding. I've been bowling for many years as well. My highest game is 268 and my highest book average is 164. However, last night I shot a 617 series on one league and 569 on the other. I too have a collection of trophies and 3 balls now. I just bowled in the Greater San Diego Open Pro-Am tournament and got an Ebonite Warrior as part of the package. It's a great ball.

Enough about me. Were you ever able to find the bowling ball or bowling pin costume? Of course I've waited until the last minute. Please reply. If for no other reason, I can chat with another bowler.

Sandy

Be a nun.

For the pregnant mom-to-be, with baseball season in full swing, I opted to be a baseball. The costume was adapted from an old pumpkin pattern; I painted red marks to represent a baseball. (I added a small NY since we're big Yankees fans!)

I like the pregnant nun idea, thats a good one, and the man with beer belly is funny too. Adding pregnancy to any costume could make it unique. Pregnant cheerleader, or shotgun wedding pregnant bride. Maybe use the belly to add size (soory) for large characters like an elephant, big bird, a pumpkin, a food loving chef. Or leave the costume up to the little one. Pin a cute little baby costume and treat bag to your tummy, and you can simply be mom taking baby out trick or treating. Or face paint your tummy to look like a pumpkin, and dress like a farmer, or get some shorts and a tshirt, and face paint your tummy as a big basketball, or beach volleyball. carry your pumpkin around. I would just keep in mind whatever you choose, that its not going to make you too hot. I remember sweating away in december while everyone around me was cold.

I went to a party 8 months pregnant, as a barefoot & pregnant redneck mom. I wore my gaudiest maternity clothes (big flowered top, and crop pants), put my hair in pigtails, and went barefoot. I had an idea to borrow a baby stroller and a couple of dolls so I could tote one around and have one in the stroller so it'd look like I was having my 3rd, but waited too late to get the props!

I will be 8.5 months preg this year and i am working up a couple of ideas.... by the way I love the ideas so far....
I am thinking of painting my belly as a fish blowl with fish inside (when the baby kicks it will look like its really swimming) and then attatching some extra arms to appear as if they are holding the fish bowl all night. I just hope I can find someone who can draw it realistic like because I dont think I could from upside down.

Or the other thing I was thinking of is painting my belly to look like the baby was peeking out at everyone. I havent decided yet. But I will let you know what I come up with.

I was being induced on Halloween, so I never got to do this. But if i could, I would do it all over and walk into hospital like this!

I wanted to get plastic alien hands, and a head, and conect it to ripped shirt and put blood on shirt. Like i had an alien baby coming out of my stomach.
I know its kinda nasty.but boy, what a laugh.

My friend had a Barbie party for her birthday. The funniest two were "Pregnant Barbie" and "12-step Barbie."
