(11/03/2002•24:55) costumes beginning with 'F' [edit]Archive Message
by Amanda

Hi!

My hubby and I have been invited to an 'F' party. It's fancy dress and we could do with a few ideas. Having lived in Chicago for 2 years (now back home in the UK) we just know that you Americans will come up with some wacky suggestions. Looking forward to your thoughts!

Just in case you still need ideas ... here are a few. Pretty obvious, but hopefully helpful.

- Funeral directors. Really easy. I wonder how hard it is to get your hands on a casket catalog? Maybe a character from "Six Feet Under?"

- Freaks! The people who exhibited themselves at PT Barnum's American Museum in New York in the 1800's were usually in very proper victorian dress. Bearded ladies and parsitic (partially formed) twins sound appealing.

- Fester. As in uncle. As in Addam's Family.

- Fatima. As in exotic lovely charmer of men.

- Frankenst ... (just kidding)

Good luck!
